We're Adopting!
A Happy Hello to Everyone,
We are in the process of adding to our family through the miracle of adoption!
Some of you already know me, but for those that don't, I'm Sandy Joyce wife to John and mom to Steven. John and I will be celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary this year and have been together for as a couple for 14 years. We have been friends forever! After battling with infertility issues and treatments for years we decided to stop all the madness of infertility and adopt. We adopted Steven almost 10 years ago through foster parenting. We have watched him grow from a six year old little boy to a 15 year old young man. We have had our ups and downs with him and it has been a challenge to raise him, but have enjoyed the good times with him and watching him grow and learn.
It wasn't until just recently that we felt the timing was right for us to add onto our family and take the plunge again. We have opted to do a domestic adoption this time and hope to be matched to a birth mother within the next 6-9 months. We are very excited to be adopting again.
You may wonder why I am sharing this with you…Domestic Adoptions can be very expensive and I am not wanting to drain all of our savings so we are going to be doing fundraisers and later down the road a dinner with raffles and all the works.
All proceeds from our websites Joyce's Create A Book and Direct Sales Mommies will go towards our adoption fund. I have a page up on our website at Joyce's Create A Book about our adoption journey and our current and upcoming fundraisers. We are not asking you to donate money, what we are asking is that if you have a birthday coming up or just need a gift that you stop by and visit our website and see what we have to offer. If you are looking for affordable advertising for your work at home business please check us out on Direct Sales Mommies. We're asking that you check our fundraisers out, not only will you be helping us out, but you will be helping a fellow work at home mom as many have offered to do fundraisers to help us out.
