I love jewelry!

I love the feeling of being "put together" and looking "finished" when I wear jewelry. It gives me that extra confidence boost. I don't always put myself together, but if I'm going out, I really like to have it as all together as possible. The good news is: fashion jewelry doesn't HAVE to cost a fortune!

Blogging Around the Christmas Tree!

Well this is the first year I will NOT be spending Christmas with my "family of origin." I have totally mixed feelings about the whole thing. On the one hand I'm a little sad because it IS the first year EVER to not have Christmas with them...including the year there was some bad blood between us when I "ran away from home" as my mom puts it (I was 18 and moved out with my boyfriend after discovering my privacy had been violated by way of journal snooping.)
