do you do link exchanges? This can help your optimization, but be careful. The search engines don't like link farms. I'll post an article on link farms and etc later. Use like links! Use mom pack, there are always people looking for link exchanges.

Do any of you belong to blog nut or any other ning....how about updating your status. These all can increase your seo power...be being more visible and blog nut has a tool bar too. I usually don't honk other nings horns, but....it's a good tool to use...tool bar. I may come up with one for this network, and display other party sites. what do you all think?

Also, I have read, that you don't necessarily need to submit your site to the engines, as the engines have spiders that do the crawling. I still dd though. ALSO, very important, add your site to directories. You can do this by googling free directories.

thanks fifi for your advice. Now for you newbies, I have heard that link farms or sights that contain alot of links, the search engines tend to steer away from. only ad links that are relevant to your site. I will be erasing some of my inactive wahms links. I don't consider my links a link farm. I really don't know what that is. Also if you look at the top 100 sites. ALOT of them have plug boards...a little off topic, but it is a way to get your site seen, and hopefully climb up the seo ladder!

just do the same thing u r doing on yahoo or other search engine. traffic, create ads and blogs, marketing, etc....increase activities and be seen and heard...

I am not an expert either. To me search engine optimization is getting up in page rank with google and such. Is that what people are using...? google ad words?
