Once upon a time I was a newbie internet marketer and did not join for the right reasons. I'm still a newbie! BUT...I have learned that I would rather truly NETWORK and get to know each other...help others out when my skills and abilities allow, etc. This has proven to be WAY more effective. So far I've made a couple new friends who we genuinely care about how each other is doing. I've also helped some people with their website to the extent of my ability, and others have reached back and helped me with some of my sites.
I pay attention to my own shopping behavior and have noticed I'm way more likely to do business, especially repeat business, with those who keep in touch with me in a genuine way. If they are blindly spamming me and obviously have no idea who I am, I am not as likely to do business with that person, even if I need their product or services.
Awesome Sara! It's important to be everywhere. We just need to be everywhere for the right reasons! I agree with your post and thank you for your thoughts. I agree that networking is more than blindly spamming people. This year I have to get more organized. Have a great day!
Being a newbie, I believe I was a network junkie until there was to many networks to join and keep up with, then I shifted to just reading and learning from what people wrote. I'm still new at alot of things so I put my two scents in where I can. I'm learning to ask questions to get help, suggestion, and tips. I do like making new friends and networking.
